IN June 2008 a group of thirty six people from UK and Australia, booked on a 'Travelsphere' (UK) tour, travelled by coach from Dover to Annecy in the Haute Savoie region of France staying at Troyes overnight and visiting Beaune during the completion of the journey next day. The following days in Annecy were fully occupied with visits to the old town, Chamonix, Montveners Mer de Glace, Mont Blanc, Lac du Bourget and Chanaz. On the return journey, following an overnight stop in the outskirts of Paris, a whistle-stop coach tour of the city preceded the ferry crossing from Calais to Dover.
